WHO HOLDS THE POWER: A general overview

A promising young man from a working-middle class family finally turns the tables on his neighborhood opposition.

Namely those who have long alienated him, ridiculed him, mocked him, and even sometimes bullied him.

The protagonist, 13-year-old Ivan Thompson doesn't seek his revenge outright.

Instead, he allows his enemies to first seek him. Namely in a rather unprovoked manner.

Upon being confronted, Ivan promptly makes mincemeat of the latter by way of issuing external as well as internal bruising, dislocated and broken limbs, some subsequent knockouts all of which brings about shattered egos left in his wake.

Although the story employs just as much fun, intimate, and humorous moments supplemented by raw action and a broad spectrum of different characters and different scenarios, the book also talks about bullying.

The rewards for standing up and fighting back and of course the consequences and the repercussions for those who prey on others.
